San Antonio moving FAQ
How is the flat price locked in?
We size the figure to what you are actually moving and how hard the access is, put it in writing, and hold it there. Provided the load matches what you walked us through, move day rings up to the exact figure you signed.
Do you use your own movers or subcontractors?
Our own, every time. Greg fields a trained crew on our own trucks, so no broker skims a cut, no day-labor turns up, and nobody you have never met steps into your home.
When and how do I pay?
Payment lands after the job is done, apart from the small refundable deposit that holds your date. Pay by card, check, or cash, and give the final total your okay on the spot before the truck leaves.
Is there a deposit?
Just a small refundable one to reserve your crew and your date, and nothing else. The rest is settled after the job wraps, and the estimate never costs you a thing.
Will stairs or a piano get added on at the end?
No. A staircase, a long haul across a wide yard, a piano or a gun safe, every bit of that goes into the price before the first box is carried, so the total never wanders from what you signed.
Do you still move through the San Antonio summer heat?
Every week of it. We take the early slots when we can, keep pieces out of the direct sun, and load fast so nothing sits baking on a hundred-degree driveway. Your window holds whether it is a July scorcher or a mild December day.
How do you deal with San Antonio traffic?
We plan for it. The drive gets timed against Loop 410, Loop 1604, and I-35, we dodge the worst of rush hour where it is possible, and the window we promised still holds.
Do you serve the gated communities and Hill Country?
All the time. Spots like Stone Oak, Boerne, and Helotes come with gate check-ins, HOA move windows, and long ranch drives, and we set those up in advance so nothing keeps the truck waiting.
Do you move pianos and gun safes?
Yes, and it is already inside your flat price. Those bulky, hard-to-handle pieces travel on the right board with the correct straps and padding, in the hands of movers who have carried plenty of them.
Can you deal with downtown COIs and building rules?
Yes. Plenty of downtown and Alamo Heights buildings, along with a lot of gated communities, want a Certificate of Insurance and a booked elevator. Send over the building rules and we handle the COI and lock in the freight window in advance.
Do you have climate storage if there is a gap?
Yes. Your things go into a clean, climate-controlled space, from a week to the better part of a year, and the cost rides inside your written price instead of arriving as a separate bill down the road.
How much notice do you need?
A week or two suits most moves, and the month-ends and the first fill up soonest. When a crew has an opening we will still take a same-week or next-day job, so a quick call to check is always worth it.
How do you keep the floors and walls unmarked?
Floor runners go down, door frames and banisters get padded, and the furniture is blanket-wrapped before it moves, so the place you are leaving and the one you are heading to both come out clean.
Which parts of San Antonio and the metro do you cover?
All of it, from downtown and Alamo Heights out through Stone Oak, Helotes, and Schertz, then on to Boerne, New Braunfels, and Seguin, plus long-distance jobs across Texas and beyond.
Want a written number you can plan the whole move around?
Your written flat rate comes over from the San Antonio office, most often the same working day you ask.
