How we handle Long-Distance
Cross-country jobs fall apart at the transfer point, where one outfit loads you and total strangers hand it over at the other end. We cut that step out. Your belongings load onto our truck once and come off on the date we committed to, the whole way under one written figure.
A number set before we ever pull up
Around here most crews quote an hourly rate and let the meter write your bill. We do the opposite: a firm figure in writing before a truck leaves the yard, with the packing, any storage, and the Texas heat already worked into it.
Walk us through it
Walk us through the home, the stairs and the driveway, and the dates you have in mind, by phone, on a video call, or in person.
Get one figure
A single flat price comes back from the San Antonio office, most often the same working day you get in touch.
Say yes on your terms
Asking runs you nothing. You put it on the books only when the price and the date both suit you.

Your job is never auctioned to a broker, farmed out to day-labor, or dropped on somebody you have never met. The movers at your door draw a paycheck from Greg, and every truck out front is ours, lettered with our name, stocked, and kept up in our own San Antonio shop.

The Greg’s Pro Moving promise
When a move slips, fixing it is on us, no excuses. That buys you a promised arrival window, a claims process laid out in everyday words, and a crew that looks after your home the way they would their own abuela’s.
✔ Punctual — we hit the window we gave you, or you get a call before we ever run late.
✔ The price is the price — sign it once and that is the figure, top to bottom.
✔ Claims done straight — anything noted is logged on the spot and settled on paper.
✔ No hidden line items — gas, miles, and stair carries already live in the number.

Long-Distance FAQs
Do you use your own movers or subcontractors?
Our own, every time. Greg fields a trained crew on our own trucks, so no broker skims a cut, no day-labor turns up, and nobody you have never met steps into your home.
How is the flat price locked in?
We size the figure to what you are actually moving and how hard the access is, put it in writing, and hold it there. Provided the load matches what you walked us through, move day rings up to the exact figure you signed.
How much notice do you need?
A week or two suits most moves, and the month-ends and the first fill up soonest. When a crew has an opening we will still take a same-week or next-day job, so a quick call to check is always worth it.
How do you keep the floors and walls unmarked?
Floor runners go down, door frames and banisters get padded, and the furniture is blanket-wrapped before it moves, so the place you are leaving and the one you are heading to both come out clean.
Is there a deposit?
Just a small refundable one to reserve your crew and your date, and nothing else. The rest is settled after the job wraps, and the estimate never costs you a thing.
Will stairs or a piano get added on at the end?
No. A staircase, a long haul across a wide yard, a piano or a gun safe, every bit of that goes into the price before the first box is carried, so the total never wanders from what you signed.
Want a written number you can plan the whole move around?
